Poipu Plantation Vacation Rentals

We love staying in the Macadamia suite, the views are spectacular, especially in the morning and evening, looking out over the ocean and mountains from the balcony. It's a quick, beautiful walk to the ocean and Poipu Beach, where you can enjoy seeing the monk seals & sea turtles chill on the beach and dolphins jumping out of the water in the morning all while the sunrises. At sunset, you can witness several sea turtles swim to shore to relax on the beach. I like to say, this is our "home away from home." Everything is above and beyond our expectations; accommodations, atmosphere, service, cleanliness, privacy, safety, parking, access to Poipu Beach and local restaurants. We will continue to make this our vacation spot. Mahalo Pete for making us feel like part of your family.

We were fortunate enough to spend 3 weeks at this beautiful bed and breakfast! We had to leave Maui quickly due to the fires and the owner Pete was most accommodating to us! His local information was very helpful to us. The breakfast was excellent in a lovely setting! The old plantation home is lovely and well appointed! We enjoyed the quick stroll down to the beach and the lovely mature landscaping on property. Pete provided nice beach chairs and towels for our day’s excursions. This place is truly a hidden gem and we hope to return to Poipu Plantation for many years to come!

Views and location are great. Room, including bed needs some updating. Looks much shabbier than the last time we stayed there.

We had a fantastic stay. The place was immaculately clean, the balcony view was amazing, high quality beach chairs and towels provided, and the location cannot be beat! A very short walk to one of the best beaches on the island. Very short drive to great restaurants and shops also. Thanks to Pete for excellent customer service and communications! We plan to return.

We stayed 4 nights in the Hibiscus room and absolutely loved our stay. Amenities like beach chairs, laundry room, and even a vegetable/herb garden were so appreciated. Pete was awesome and available if we needed anything. We hope to be back soon.

Absolutely 5 stars across the board! We loved our stay - the staff was so friendly and communicative, the location was perfect - loved being able to walk to the beach and restaurants including Puka Dog! We walked down during the evening to see the sea turtles resting on the beach - truly magical. Our room was also perfect - so spacious and beautiful, especially for the price! Will absolutely stay again.

Great place! My wife and I stayed here twice during our week on Kauai. The rooms are large and include kitchens and plenty of amenities, including great beach chairs and towels that we put to use. Less than a 10-minute walk to the beach! There were no minimum night requirements, which definitely helped with our overall trip planning, and the rates were relatively low, so the value was great. The communication from our host was plentiful and helpful. Will definitely stay here again in the future, and highly recommend to all!

Great place to stay. Don’t expect room service, maids or turn down service. Just breathtaking views and a short walk to Poi’Pu beach.
